About us
A family business that builds pools
Elite Pool Services is owned and run by the St. George family in Birmingham. Brad has spent more than 25 years in the pool business, and five of his kids work alongside him today.
From Minnesota to Birmingham
Brad and Tara St. George came to Alabama from Minnesota for the warmer weather and the southern hospitality – and stayed. They have been married for close to three decades and have seven kids. Five of them work in the business.
Levi started helping his dad build pools at 14 and went full time at 17; as the oldest, he has the most years on job sites and runs the construction side. Benjamin manages vinyl liner replacements and repairs. Joel manages the service department. Gideon and Kharissa work in our sister company’s pool store in Pell City.
How we work
We design every new pool in 3D before we dig, we use our own crews and equipment for the heavy work, and we put estimates in writing. On renovations we strip old plaster completely instead of covering it up. And because we also service pools every week, we see how our work holds up years later – which keeps us honest.
Who you’ll talk to
25+ years of building, renovating and servicing pools. Designs most new pools with the customer.
On job sites since he was 14. Runs excavation and construction crews.
Measures, orders and installs replacement liners; handles vinyl pool repairs.
Manages weekly service routes and the technicians our customers know by name.
What people say about the team
Great customer experience, attention to detail, communication as to the process - service - training was extraordinary, service teams knowledge is tops in the industry. I will definitely be calling Elite’s Pool Team to discuss our next project of an in ground pool install.
Had to have new liner for our inground pool. I cant say enough on how well mannered the boys were that did our work. Jacob and the other boys did an excellent job. Stephen that did the finish work is a fabulous young man!!! Many thanks to the hard work they put in and for help us get our pool so we can enjoy!!!!
I needed my pool vacuumed and a salt cell cleaning. Joel came out and did a great job as well as teaching me so I can do it myself next time. He was very patient with me in answering all my questions. Ronnie and everyone at Elite Pool Services is always helpful whenever I need them.
