Pools built & serviced in Calera, AL
We built a custom gunite spa in Calera and work on new pools and renovations in the fast-growing neighborhoods along I-65 south of Birmingham.
Pools in Calera
Calera is one of the fastest-growing towns in Shelby County, with new neighborhoods like Timberline, Camden Cove and Savannah Pointe filling in along I-65 and US-31. New homes mean new backyards, and many owners plan a pool a year or two after moving in – once the lawn is in and they know how the yard gets used.
Our Calera project is a 6 × 12 foot custom gunite spa with a 375-square-foot travertine deck – proof that a beautiful backyard does not always need a full-size pool. We also build complete pools here, and we drive down for renovations and liner replacements.
Calera’s soil is a mix of clay and rock, like much of Shelby County. Clay holds water and moves with the seasons, so we pay attention to drainage around the pool and to the base under decks and equipment pads.

What customers say
My technician has always been Kyle Handy. Hes responsive, kind, very knowledgeable, and respectful.
Great customer experience, attention to detail, communication as to the process - service - training was extraordinary, service teams knowledge is tops in the industry. I will definitely be calling Elite’s Pool Team to discuss our next project of an in ground pool install.
Our pump went out on Saturday evening. I called Elite Pool and my call was returned immediately. Dan came on Sunday morning and by Tuesday we had a new pump installed and pool was up and running. Dan explained everything to us about our equipment. I cannot say enough good things about Elite Pool and their service.
