Step by step
How it works
- Measure
We set the pool points with a camera system and upload the measurements straight to Latham – fewer errors, faster production.
- Choose
Pick a pattern – Butterfly Effect, Navarre, Falling Esagono, Legends, Hampton, Mosaic Sands and many more.
- Prep
Old liner out, floor and walls repaired, foam installed, fittings replaced.
- Install
The liner is vacuumed into place, the pool is filled and the fittings are cut in.
Signs it is time
Most liners in Alabama last 7–10 years. A faded, brittle liner that pulls away from the track, wrinkles that keep coming back, or water loss you cannot explain all point to a replacement. A pool that sat green and empty for a season usually needs one too.
Measured right
A liner that fits is all about the measurements. We use the Latham Measure Pro HD camera system: we set the pool points and it captures length, width, depth and every corner. The data goes directly to Latham, which speeds up production and shortens the wait.
Make it new while it is empty
With the water out it is the best time to add LED lights (we often install multicolor Spa Electrics lights), replace the coping, or refresh the deck with a spray deck coating. On one recent remodel we installed a Butterfly Effect liner, Kahlua Creme spray deck and new travertine coping – the yard looked brand new.
Customer reviews
What customers say
Had to have new liner for our inground pool. I cant say enough on how well mannered the boys were that did our work. Jacob and the other boys did an excellent job. Stephen that did the finish work is a fabulous young man!!! Many thanks to the hard work they put in and for help us get our pool so we can enjoy!!!!
Dave and the Elite Pool team did an amazing job with our aged pool of 30 years. They helped connect us with a restoration specialist (Thanks ETS Restoration) that corrected a few issues in our backyard prior to starting the pool work.
Dan arrived on time and clearly explained the process for cleaning and maintaining our inground pool. He walked us through the treatment plan and let us know that we may need a new liner within the next year or so, even offering to provide a quote when we’re ready. We appreciate his professionalism and transparency.
How much does a liner replacement cost?
Our liner replacements start at $5,900 for a typical pool. Larger pools, thicker liners, floor rebuilds and new steps add to that.
How long does it take?
About a week of work. Most of the waiting is liner production after we measure – usually a couple of weeks.
Can you put a new liner in a pool that has been empty?
Yes. We check the walls and floor carefully first; empty pools often need more floor repair.
