What automation actually does
It turns a pad full of switches and timers into one app. Heat the spa on the way home, run the pump slowly overnight, switch the lights to blue for a party – and get an alert if something is off. On our recent 18 × 36 gunite pool we installed a Poolside Tech automatic attendant; on a swim spa renovation we installed Jandy automation.
Automation also saves money: a variable-speed pump on a smart schedule, and freeze protection that only runs when it has to.
