What Birmingham pool owners say about us

We resurfaced old gunnite pool with new coping, waterline tile, gunnite and corrected steps. We had excellent communication, skilled labor and professionalism. Everything from beginning to end in our project was great!

I used this company to close my pool for the winter. They did not secure all the tie downs on the pool cover. They did not remove the salt cell plug from the computer board. They did unscrew the salt cell, but just left it there. They did not cap off the openings to the pipe lines where the salt cell was removed. They unscrewed the connections to the pool heater and just left them open.

When my pool was opened in the spring of 2024 the cover was not allowed to dry and was not cleaned. I just had the pool closed and there is mold and old dirt all over it. When I called about this I was told they did not clean the cover but I was told they did. I will not be happy or using them again until this is resolved. VRRY UNHAPPY RIGHT NOW.

Very pleased with maintenance service from Elite Pool Services. They spent extra time and work to get the pool cleaned up and have been diligent in weekly service to keep it balanced and beautiful.

Brad and his crew are GREAT! We live in Riverchase and have a large Grecian shaped, vinyl lined pool built in 1984. Needless to say it needed some help and a lot of updating. Surfed the web for pool remodeler's and was very disappointed with what we were finding, either they did not work on vinyl liners or did not give that warm fuzzy feeling you want when spending the kind of money pool repairs can cost. We found Elite Pool Service with an A+Rating on the Better Business Bureau's website. Brad responded to us quickly and it was very obvious he knew his trade. Our concrete decking had cracked in several places and had bad high/low areas, all the bad was removed and Brad's crew installed Tumble Marble pavers as the new decking. BEAUTIFUL. The old plastic white steps were replaced with steel steps, new camouflaged coping was installed and a new vinyl liner was installed that also covers the new steel steps. Brad also converted our pool from a chlorine pool to a saltwater pool.
Brad and his crew showed up when expected, did what they said they would do, did not take short cuts and did the job correctly the first time.
Brad was not inexpensive but he was very fairly priced and I feel he delivered a better than expected experience. They are the BEST!

The gentleman that came out was very professional and knew his job. He also gave me some good pointers on how to clean my pool and keep it clean. Great Job. Thanks Charles

EPS has always been easy to work with and always keeps our pool in great condition. They are also quick to remedy issues with the pool and equipment.

Although I would have liked a quicker response, the technician was very helpful and I will be calling them in the future. The technician was very courteous, professional, and went over and beyond once I feel he was expected to do.

Got right out to clean and open pool. They had to order a pump and a couple of smaller things last week. I have paid about $1000 so far. Don’t really know when they will be back. I called today and was told we would be put on the schedule and they would let me know. Hope I hear from them soon.

Came on the 12th removed cover and leaf guard and said they added chemicals Left and I haven’t been able to get them back! They showed up today but we were expecting company so we did it ourselves. !

Justin had done a couple of repairs and has done a great job. Very knowledgeable, professional, communicative and gets the job done. Highly recommend.

Everyone I have spoke to with Elite pools has been kind and helpful. They message you everything from arrival time to what is going with your pool. If you want friendly and timely this is your company.

Very timely response and honest assessment.

Karel byl velmi informativní a efektivní. Odpověděl na všechny mé otázky a provedl mě dalším krokem - v posledních 20 letech jsem spolupracoval s několika bazénovými společnostmi a doporučuji Elite Pools.

Jason was extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable. He was on time and explained what I need to know throughly. He also presented a planned and staged approach to diagnosing and addressing my issues.

Dorazili včas, byli pohotoví a znalí. Odvedli skvělou práci. Moji noví oblíbení bazénoví přátelé!

We were pleased with our service. The office to our service was efficient. Most of all they were on time and the technician explained everything very clearly.

Not only did they create a beautiful oasis in my back yard, Elite went above and beyond DESIGNING and creating an amazing retaining wall.
Elite listens to what the client wants and has the knowledge required to work with challenging landscapes

I wanted to provide a heads up to those who may want to contact Elite Pools based on other positive reviews.
I called them this morning to set up a time to have them come to my house to quote the installation of an oversized gunite inground spa (14'x8') in our backyard. The young man that answered the phone kind of hesitated and said that something like that would cost as much as a gunite pool (which I completely understand that ... we just don't have the physical space in our back yard to be much bigger). Anyway - he then threw out that it would start at a base cost of at least $45,000 - $50,000... (like it was going to scare me away). I replied that I understood that a gunite spa was quite expensive and that I was already aware of the costs being at least that. Regardless, he then very rudely, and snidely (almost as if it retaliating when I did not quiver at his price) said that it's just not something Elite Pools is interested in. He couldn't end the call "quick enough" when I tried to ask why his responses were like they were. Despite the fact that Elite Pool advertises the installation of spas on their website and that I told him that I was fully aware of and able to pay a price similar to that of a gunite pool (for the oversized, gunite spa), he did not think outside a (likely) "limited education" box or beyond his ego, whichever the case was, and just said "no".. Hopefully my experience was a rare one and that he was just having a bad morning, as this would certainly not be a quality in a person that anyone would want to work with as their pool contractor. Just wanted everyone to be cautious!

John, Brian, and Brad were all amazing to work with! Always dependable and were always very helpful throughout the process.

Unfortunately especially since summer heat the pool has slimmy bottom and day after you clean there is something on the bottom that i thought was excess shock but it happens every week so im beginning to think it an allgea

Společnost Elite Pool and Spa převzala náš projekt bazénu, když ho předchozí dodavatel prodal. Navzdory určitým zmatkům a chybějícím materiálům nám Elite Pool and Spa pomohla s dokončením projektu bez dalších nákladů pro nás.

Living in a mostly rural area, having Elite Pools here to service the area is great. They are responsive to my questions and issues. Would highly recommend.
